My Hill of Beans

hill o beans
Ski clear into morning

We could just picture it — my limp and having to explain it was from a skiing accident. Where were you skiing? In my kitchen. Frighteningly enough, people who know me well would hardly bat an eye at this.

Writers Retreat

our calabogie group
Those of us who made it up for the 3-day writing retreat at Doubleboogie. What a rejuvenating time: reading, discussing, writing and making books one page at a time. Most of us tried out hands at accordion books. A flutter book is from a single sheet of paper with folds and cuts, variants of accordion-style such as this on p. 13 of the pdf.

Myself, Brian, Terry, Elena, Sheila and Claudia.

Between the Boards

behind, between the boards

4th concept for the day's photo and the best of the worst of the lot. the air smells smoky from the area fire and I'm tired.

Do enough public photography and I'll grow impervious to people presuming me conspicuously strange, right?
